I am very happy with the new kit – fit and performance for me are much better than anything else I have had previously, the breathability is a big step up as well the ribbed arms have a great feel and a flat aero finish, the bib short also have great fit – the pad inside the shorts is dense and gives some serious protection.I don’t notice it at all when riding which is probably the highest praise you can give. I purchased the matching road helmet, it’s very compact & comfort is also great, unfortunately my first one didn’t last long I came down in the pack big-time and spent some time in the ICU. I broke 8 ribs and punctured a lung, hit my head hard, the helmet cracked as it’s meant to after absorbing such a big impact . I have no doubt it saved me from a serious head injury, I utilised the Big Ring Crash replacement programme and had a new one shipped to me at 30% off.
